Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data RoutikQ collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to sellers who use the RoutikQ platform and to buyers whose shipment data is processed through it. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, business name, email, phone number, password (hashed).
  • KYC data: PAN, GST number, business registration, address proof, bank account details, signatory details.
  • Shipment & buyer address data: pickup and delivery addresses, buyer name and phone, order value, product description, weight and dimensions.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser type, IP address, timestamps.
  • Cookies: small text files used to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand aggregate usage.

2. How we use it

  • Create and operate your account and process shipments you book.
  • Share shipment and address data with your chosen Courier Partner so they can deliver.
  • Bill you, remit COD, and produce invoices and reports.
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
  • Prevent fraud, misuse and abuse.
  • Send transactional messages (booking, tracking, remittance) and, with your consent, product updates.
  • Comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

3. Who we share it with

  • Courier Partners - we share pickup and delivery addresses, buyer contact details, weight and order value so they can deliver the shipment and collect COD.
  • Payment processors - for wallet recharges, subscription payments and COD remittance.
  • Technology processors - cloud hosting, email/SMS providers, analytics and customer-support tools, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Government or law enforcement - when required by valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Cookies & consent

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (login sessions, security) and for analytics. On your first visit we show a cookie banner where you can Accept or Decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice later by clearing your browser storage for our site. Essential cookies are always on because the platform cannot function without them.

5. Data retention & security

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records under Indian law). Shipment records are typically retained for at least 8 years for accounting and tax compliance. We protect data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, audit logs and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure - please use a strong unique password and enable multi-factor authentication if offered.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erase data we no longer need (subject to legal retention).
  • Withdraw consent for processing based on consent, at any time.
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of incapacity or death.
  • Grievance redressal - write to our Grievance Officer below.

7. Grievance Officer

In line with the DPDP Act 2023 and IT Rules, our Grievance Officer is:

8. Children's data

RoutikQ is a B2B logistics platform and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please email us and we will delete it.
